The North
American Diatom Symposium (NADS) is a biennial meeting
normally held at field stations throughout
the United States and Canada.
The 22nd NADS will be held from 13-17 August 2013 at the College of the Atlantic in scenic Bar Harbor, Maine.
International participants will present work on all aspects of diatom investigations including climate, biodiversity, evolution, ecology, systematics, biological assessment, and nanotechnology.
